Over three-hundred people tested for COVID-19 in Huron Perth

Over three-hundred people have now been tested for COVID-19 in Huron Perth.
The area’s Medical Officer of Health Dr.Miriam Klassen gave the update Thursday afternoon saying 307 people have been tested so far with sixteen cases confirmed.
The confirmed cases include three cases in St.Marys and seven in Stratford.
She added 261 cases were negative and 30 are still pending.
One person has died from COVID-19 in the area, a man from St.Marys.
Of the cases that were confirmed, 4 were in individuals 65 and older and 12 were in those younger than 65.
Dr. Klassen added one person who was confirmed to have the virus at Hillside Manor has improved while two cases at Greenwood Court are mildly symptomatic.
