Almost 2 weeks without a new case of COVID-19 in residents of Huron-Perth

It’s been 13 days since Huron-Perth has seen a new case of COVID-19. The total case count remains at 49.

Huron Perth Public Health reports that the death toll also remains unchanged at 5.

HPPH reports another 61 people have been tested since yesterday with the total number of people tested at 2,236 with 107 test results pending.  Negative test results now sit at 99-percent.

HPPH does specify that long-term care workers who live outside Huron-Perth but work in a long-term care facility in the region are not counted in the active confirmed cases for Huron-Perth.
