One new case of COVID-19 in Huron Perth

There’s a new case of COVID-19 in Huron Perth.

New data from Huron Perth Public Health released Friday afternoon shows a new case in Stratford, bringing the overall number of cases in the region to 52.

The total number of deaths from the virus, according to HPPH, still remains at 5.

Forty-four people have recovered from COVID-19 in the area bringing the total of resolved cases to 49.

One-hundred-and-twenty-nine more people have been tested since Thursday bringing the overall number to 3,184 with 183 pending.

Negative test results remain at 98-percent.

The outbreak at Maitland Manor in Goderich, declared on May 20th when a patient tested positive, remains in effect.
