An identity for the two schools.
That’s what the Avon Maitland District School Board is calling the development and selection of logos, team names, and colours for Stratford Intermediate School and Stratford District Secondary School.
Officials say that over the last several weeks, branding committees for both schools have been collecting ideas from students, staff, parents, and community stakeholders, narrowing down the options using a list of criteria and asking the various stakeholders to vote for their favorite option.
They say the new school branding is a reflection of the school communities’ desire for a fresh start and the chance to develop an identity in the new grade 7 to 12 configuration.
Stratford Falcons has been chosen for Stratford Intermediate School and Stratford Golden Bears for SDSS.
Meanwhile, construction continues on the Stratford Intermediate site and with the school on track for fall opening while upgrades to the SDSS site will begin this summer.
