Stratford native Justin Bieber denies rape allegations made on Twitter

Stratford native Justin Bieber is denying allegations of rape made against him on Twitter over the weekend.

Two accounts on the social media site tweeted out claims about the incidents that are alleged to have taken place in 2014 and 2015.

The account of one anonymous accuser which claimed the incident took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin Texas in 2014  has been removed from Twitter, but Bieber responded to it, saying: “There is no truth to this story.”

The second account, which is not anonymous, is still online but the claim has been removed.

Bieber tweeted Sunday night that “every claim of sexual abuse should be taken very seriously and this is why my response was needed. However, he added the 2014 story “is factually impossible and that is why I will be working with twitter and authorities to take legal action.”

Bieber followed up with his own tweets, sharing photos, receipts, and emails which he says show that he stayed at an AirBnb in Austin during the time of the alleged incident in 2014.
