Damage from a weekend barn fire in Wellesley is pegged at $300-thousand with the barn a total loss.
Area firefighters were called out to the blaze on Manser Road around 12:30 Saturday afternoon.
They say the barn was fully involved with flames when they arrived but people who were driving by had been able to get 5 cattle out before the fire took over.
The fire isn’t considered suspicious and an investigation into the cause continues.
