Stratford Police are reminding everyone that swimming isn’t allowed at the Fishing Quarry in St.Marys.
They say the quarry, located across the road from the Swimming Quarry on Water Street South, is for fishing only.
SPS says they had to remove eight swimmers, as well as a group of people who were having a campfire at the fishing quarry, over the weekend.
Officers also issued two warnings for having open alcohol in a public place.
No tickets were issued over the weekend; however, fines can be issued under the Trespass to Property Act for those who are caught swimming at the Fishing Quarry.
