Perth County OPP says two people were injured after their car struck and killed a horse that was running loose in Perth East.
Just after 4:30 Saturday morning, first responders were called to the collision on Perth Line 72, near Road 131.
Police say a car was traveling eastbound when it struck the horse on the roadway.
The 25-year-old driver and 27-year-old passenger, both residents of Perth East, were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The horse died at the scene and police say there will be no charges as a result of this collision.
