Perth County OPP says a 21-year-old driver has been charged after they were caught speeding with a baby in their vehicle.
Just before 10:30 Monday night, police say an officer noticed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Perth Road 180, in West Perth.
They say the vehicle was stopped after it was found to be traveling in excess of 134km/h in a posted 80km/h zone and a 15-month-old was also found in the vehicle.
As a result, the driver from London was charged with Race motor vehicle – Excessive Speed.
A seven-day driving suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment were also given to the driver.
