Perth County OPP says a 30-year-old Brussels man has been charged after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Listowel.
Just before 8:30 in the morning on July 24th, first responders were called out after a 17-year-old pedestrian was struck on Main Street, at the intersection of Wallace Avenue North.
Police say the pedestrian had been crossing westbound when the truck turned northbound and caused the collision.
They were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the driver of the pick-up truck wasn’t injured.
The driver has been charged with Fail to Yield to Pedestrian.
