Perth County OPP are searching for a suspect after an incident in Listowel.
Just before 6 o’clock in the evening on September 28th, police say two youths were walking on Nichol Avenue South and were playing around by yelling out loud while in the parking lot of an elementary school.
Police say a car passed by, and it’s believed the three male occupants thought the youths were yelling at them.
The driver got out of the vehicle, where he brandished a knife, and uttered threats to one of the youth.
The suspect then got back in the vehicle and left the scene and there were no injuries as a result of the altercation.
The male suspect is described as approximately 5’7″, wearing a black flat hat, black hoodie, grey jogging pants, and an earring with the vehicle described as a black Honda Civic.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
