There are 4 new active COVID-19 cases in Huron Perth.
Updated data released by Huron Perth Public Health on Monday afternoon shows two new cases in North Perth and 2 cases in Huron County.
Huron Perth Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Miriam Klassen, says two of the new cases are household contacts of a person who previously had the virus.
She says they are self isolating at home while another of the new cases was in an asymptomatic healthcare worker and further testing is being done to confirm that case.
The fourth case was in a person who traveled outside the area and then returned.
There have been 133 cases of the virus in the region since the pandemic began with 124 recovered.
The death toll from the virus remains at 5.
