Stratford Police say four have people face charges after a gang style assault in the city.
Shortly after 6 o’clock last Friday night, SPS says they went to a home on Douro Street to assist paramedics with a male who had been assaulted.
They say he was transported to hospital where it was learned that he had gone to a home in the east end of the city where he was attacked by a group of four people.
He was restrained and beaten with various weapons before being driven from the home and dropped off in another area of the city where he was pushed from the vehicle.
According to police, the man suffered non-life threatening injuries and was later released from hospital after treatment.
Police later used a search warrant to go into the home where they say the assault happened and they seized the weapons believed to be used in the attack.
A 16-year-old youth, a 17-year-old youth, a 21-year-old male, and a 40-year-old female, all from Stratford, were located, arrested, and transported to police headquarters where they were charged with Assault with a Weapon and Forcible Confinement.
