Stratford Police say two adults are in critical condition after a house fire in the city.
First responders were called to the home on Downie Street just before 1 o’clock Saturday morning.
Stratford Fire Chief John Paradis says the home was fully involved in flames when crews arrived and they learned that three of the four people living there had leaped from the second story to escape.
All four people, two adults and two children, were transported to the hospital with the children since released and being cared for.
The family was renting the home and the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office has been called in to investigate the cause of the blaze.
