City of Stratford offering drive-through Halloween event

There is a new way to celebrate Halloween in Stratford.

From 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock Halloween night, the City of Stratford is inviting those who have pre-registered to take part in a drive-through event at the Stratford Rotary Complex.

Officials say a trick-or-treat experience will be offered to participants who will remain physically and socially distanced in their vehicles.

Huron Perth Public Health has been consulted on this event and treat bags will be offered at decorated drive-up booths, with candy passed into the vehicle in a safe and physically distanced manner.

Registrants will be required to show up only during their pre-registered time, and it’s expected that the experience will last approximately 10-15 minutes with 6-8 booths being offered.
