A ground search is underway in New Hamburg as police search for a missing 67-year-old man.
Waterloo Regional Police says Richard Cressman was last seen in the area and then a few hours later they announced they are searching in the Nith River area.
Officials have set up a police command post at Hillcrest Mennonite Church as the investigation takes place.
Cressman is described as white, six feet tall with grey hair and a moustache.
He was last seen wearing a navy jacket, blue jeans and possibly a baseball hat.
Anyone with information is asked to call Waterloo Regional Police.
