There are seven new COVID-19 cases in Huron Perth.
An update was released by Huron Perth Public Health on Thursday morning.
Five of the new cases are in Perth South, one is in St.Marys and the other is in Stratford.
HPPH says a confirmed COVID-19 case has been identified at Jeanne Sauve Catholic School in Stratford.
The health unit says they and the school are taking all necessary steps to prevent further spread of the virus.
There are currently 18 active cases in the region, four more than reported on Wednesday.
There have been 1,320 cases since the pandemic began with 1,253 recovered.
The death toll remains at 49.
