Scaled-down Stratford Festival being planned

The Stratford Festival could look a bit different this year.

After not being held last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, festival officials say they are planning a season of six ninety-minute shows and five musical cabarets.

The performances would start in late June and run until the end of September and they would be held in open sided tents, physically distanced with a maximum audience of 100 people.

Shows would run three times a day from Tuesday until Sunday and they say the playbill is to be announced.

The performances will only go ahead if COVID-19 and other conditions permit.
