Snow squall warning issued for Perth County

March is definitely coming in like a lion in Perth County.  Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning for the area for Monday into Tuesday morning.

The weather agency says we could see between 25 to 35 centimetres of snow and wind gusts up to 80 kilometres an hour.  The worst of the blowing snow is expected Monday afternoon through until midnight with the heaviest amount of snow expected Monday evening.

Visibility will be worst in open areas, like along stretches of roads with open fields.

Perth County may escape the worst of it with Environment Canada reporting they expect the most snow to fall in Kincardine, Ripley, Lucknow, Wingham, and Gorrie.
