Stratford City Council’s next regular meeting will be focused on a proposal to extend the no stopping and no parking times on various city streets.
The meeting, taking place virtually Monday afternoon, will see councilors consider the recommendation for the extensions with officials saying it would better reflect the start times of schools in those neighborhoods.
If approved, the times around schools in Stratford in the morning would change to 8 o’clock to 10 o’clock from 8 o’clock to 9 o’clock.
That extended period would apply to sections of the following school-area streets:
• Bedford Drive
• Bruce Street
• Cawston Street
• Huntingdon Avenue
• Louise Street
• Mowat Street
• Rebecca Street
• Strachan Street
• Avondale Avenue
The meeting is scheduled to start at 3 o’clock.
