Nineteen people have been charged after police say they went to a golf course in Tillsonburg despite the province’s stay-at-home order.

Oxford County OPP says the people were charged between Saturday and Sunday after going to the Bridges of Tillsonburg Golf Club.

All of the charges are under the Reopening Ontario Act with fines set at $750 for not following the order and $1,000 for preventing others from following it.

The golf course was charged with three counts under the reopening act earlier while five people were also charged on Friday.
