No injuries after pilot forced to make emergency landing in Thames Centre

There were no injuries after a pilot had to make an emergency landing in Thames Centre.
Middlesex County OPP and Stratford Police were called out just before 7 o’clock Friday night about a downed plane in the Wellburn Road and Elginfield Road area.
Police say they were advised by NAV Canada that a small Cessna plane was experiencing mechanical issues in the London area.
The pilot, the lone occupant of the plane, was forced to make an emergency landing in a field off Wellburn Road, south of Elginfield Road.
There was no damage to the plane reported and the the investigation is continuing.
