Stratford city council is supporting door-to-door mail delivery in the city.
A resolution passed at last night’s meeting to support the continuation of the service.
Councillors took a recorded vote after hearing from both CUPW and Canada Post.
The resolution may not do much to prevent the installation of community mailboxes however, as Canada Post noted it has the legal right to install them.
