A Stratford senior is being recognized by the province.
Michele Boniface is among a group of fifteen seniors being honored with an Ontario Senior Achievement Award.
Officials say the awards are being presented to seniors for their exceptional contributions to their communities and to the province.
They say Boniface is a tireless supporter of the arts through her work with the Off-the-Wall Stratford Artists Alliance, which gives students the opportunity to learn, earn and collaborate with artists involved in the Stratford Festival.
She’s a former member of the Kiwanis Festival of the Performing Arts Advisory Committee and has contributed to numerous projects involving arts and music, civic beautification and environmental awareness.
