A former Perth County Warden who recently passed away is being remembered.
David Shearer served three consecutive terms as Warden of Perth County in 1998, 1999 and 2000.
He was elected in 1998 as the head of a newly configured 10-member County Council which represented the county’s four amalgamated member municipalities.
Shearer was a Milverton resident and also served as the chair of the board of Knollcrest Lodge.
Flags will remain lowered at all Perth County facilities until Friday in honour of Shearer’s life.
