Police say one person is dead after they were struck by a pickup truck while walking near Milverton.
First responders were called out just before 7 o’clock Tuesday night to Perth Road 121 in Poole after the collision.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
Their identity is being withheld until next-of-kin are notified.
Anyone who witnessed what happened is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
