A COVID-19 outbreak at Stratford General Hospital has been declared over.
It was first declared in the Inpatient Surgery Unit at SGH on January 7th after two cases of the virus were identified.
Officials say immediate precautions were then implemented.
In total, three patients acquired the virus while in hospital, along with eight staff members.
The unit has now reopened to admissions and transfers as well as to visitors and caregivers.
