Passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the Country Meadows Retirement Home, Brunner. John was born 86 years ago, a son of the late Peter S. Spenler & former Mattie Zehr. Beloved husband of the late Erma (Schultz) Spenler (2008).
Loving father of Larry (Debbie) Spenler of Kitchener and John Spenler of London.
Dear grandfather of Amanda, James, Shawn (Lisa), Jason, Jeremy, Ethan, Dylan, & Zoe and Great-Grandfather of Megan & Ryan.
Also remembered by his sister Madeliene Gerber of Brunner.
John was predeceased by his daughter Diane Mustard (1998)& her husband Bob (2004) sisters Leah Spenler, Emma Spenler, Elizabeth Spenler, Amanda Spenler, Sarah Spenler, Mary (Lorne) Schmidt, and brother Jacob (Gladys & Dorothy) Spenler and brother-in-law Norman J. Gerber.
Visitation at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.. On Friday, January 3, 2014 transfer will be made to Poole Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.. Pastor Paul Dyck officiating. Interment in Poole Mennonite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Poole Mennonite Church would be appreciated by the family.
