St. Marys Museum to host installation by Métis artist Tracey-Mae Chambers

The St.Marys Museum will soon play host to an installation by a Métis artist.

On Monday, August 22nd Tracey-Mae Chambers will be at the museum as part of her #hopeandhealingcanada project.

The project consists of a series of site-specific art installations across Canada with each made using crochet, knit, and woven red yarns.

The ongoing body of work is used to illustrate connections between Indigenous, Inuit, and Métis peoples with Canadians, while also addressing the decolonization of public spaces.

It will be in St.Marys until late November.
