The person killed in a plane crash near the Stratford Municipal Airport has been identified.
An obituary was posted online on Tuesday for 65-year-old John Shelley from Sarnia.
It reads that the husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend was piloting his beloved 1941 Grumman G-44 Widgeon Aircraft when he tragically crashed on August 23rd.
He was the only person on board.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada continues to look into what led to the crash.
