Fatal barn fire in Perth East deemed non-suspicious

A barn fire that claimed the lives of several animals in Perth East isn’t considered suspicious.

First responders were called out to the blaze on Wellington Road 86 around 12:25 a.m. Wednesday.

There were no injuries reported however, 3 horses, 2 dogs, and 11 puppies are reported to have been lost in the fire

The damage caused is estimated at approximately $500,000.
