Salvation Army tops Kettle goal

It’s been a good winter for the Salvation Army.

The Christmas Kettle Campaign has pulled in $105,666.

That’s about $10,000 more than the campaign goal.

Some more donations from matching programs from businesses such as Orr Insurance, Scotiabank and Walmart will be coming in as well.

The Salvation Army says this money will allow them to not only expand some of their programs, but also plan for some new ones in the future.
