The Kinsmen Club and the Stratford Perth Museum want people to celebrate the city’s history all year long. Together they’ve published a commemorative calendar for 2017.
The calendar features pictures from the Stratford-Perth and the Stratford Festival Archives. Museum General Manager John Kastner says the pictures have been matched to the months:
The photos used include one that shows a steam engine suspended high above the floor of the former CNR shops at the Cooper Site. Kastner says with pictures like that there’s no mistaking what city it is:
The calendars are $10 each with some of the proceeds going to the museum and the rest to the Kinsmen. You can buy them at a number of places around town, including at the Stratford Perth Museum. Go to the museum’s website for more details.
