Indigenous Educational Presentation Led By Christin Dennis

Avondale United Church invites you to an educational opportunity in the form of a presentation led by Christin Dennis   (Avon Maitland District School Board Indigenous Knowledge Keeper).In Dennis’ own words, he will be “… talking about the medicine wheel along with the 7 sacred teaching. I will also talk a bit about the Residential schools  along with the Sixties Scoop Children but will center mostly on on the medicine wheel teaching. Sweat lodges will be discussed as well . I will also do some flute music on the Native American Flute” (Dennis, 2023).

This wonderful educational opportunity is not to be missed, and will take place at Avondale United Church in Stratford Ontario (194 Avondale Ave), (entrance off of Huntingdon Ave).  Free will donations will be accepted at the door.
