ONE CARE Walkathon – The Grand Parade
This September, our community is walking as part of ONE CARE’s Grand Parade to show their support for seniors. You can show your support by becoming a sponsor of the event, registering a team, or making a donation to one of our participants. Teams have the flexibility to walk any distance they want, anywhere they want, anytime between September 1st and 18th! On September 18th, we’ll share photos and videos of all of our amazing teams and sponsors.
ONE CARE provides a wide range of services that enable seniors in our community to enjoy a better quality of life as they age at home. Since the beginning of the pandemic there has been an increase in needs for seniors seeking support across Huron & Perth, and ONE CARE is an essential care provider they can rely on. It has been an extraordinary and challenging time for everyone, and a time when the work ONE CARE does is imperative to the wellbeing of our community.
Funds raised through The Grand Parade will help provide subsidy to clients facing financial barriers, making it possible for them to access the essential services we provide. Funds will also be used to maintain the essential equipment required for ONE CARE’s programs, such as accessible vehicles for their EasyRide transportation service.
