Excitement building with new restaurants on the way in Stratford

New businesses and restaurants coming to Stratford makes for positivity and optimism.

That’s according to investStratford Chief Executive Officer Joani Gerber with the announcement that restaurant chain Wild Wings will be setting up shop in the former Pizza Hut location on Ontario Street.

There have also been other rumors that some restaurants are coming to, or returning, to the city.

Gerber says chain businesses are looking at Stratford as a perfect place to add a location.

“I think overall Stratford is growing as a community which means that we do become more attractive to external chains  and external companies looking to set up businesses here.”

Gerber adds one of the goals of the city is to have as few vacancies as possible.
