London International Airport doubles flights to some sun destinations beginning in December

Good news for those of us looking to shake off the southern Ontario cold this winter and don’t want to tackle a big city airport.

Flights to Mexico and the Dominican Republic will be doubled at the London International Airport (YXU).  Normally just scheduled for one departure a week, Air Transat says because of demand, flights will take off twice a week to Punta Cana and Cancun beginning in December.

This is the first time Air Transat has ever doubled its seat capacity out of London.
