A staffing shortage has forced an overnight closure at the St.Marys Memorial Hospital for the second time in two weeks.
The Emergency Department at the hospital is closing as of 9 p.m. Friday and will reopen at 7 a.m. Saturday with regular hours.
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 9-1-1 with paramedics remaining available in the community to re-route to the nearest available hospital.
The closest 24-hour hospitals are in Stratford, Exeter, Ingersoll and London.
It’s advised that you should check ahead before going to the hospital to make sure it’s operating within regular hours.
