Some improvements have come to the Dublin Community Centre thanks to a grant from the provincial government.
The $38,200 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation went towards restoring the facility’s outdoor washrooms, weatherproofing them and enlarging them so disabled people can use them more easily.
Storage space for community groups was also expanded using the funding.
Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae says he knows from attending local events that the community deserves accessible, high-quality recreation spaces, and calls the grant “great news” for families across the riding.
