A new grant program supporting community groups and landowners with tree-planting projects in Perth County launches next month.
Starting December 1st, eligible private landowners and community organizations can apply online to be a part of the Stewardship Program.
The first phase of the program helps offset the costs of tree planting and forest health monitoring surveys for individuals and organizations.
The grant opportunity for 2024 will open for applications on December 1st and close on January 19th 2024, with successful applicants being notified by early February 2024.
