Drivers reminded not to veer for deer

Drivers are being urged not to veer when they see deer after several collisions in Perth County.
Perth County OPP says deer are more active at this time of the year because it’s their mating season.
If you’re behind the wheel you be especially attentive from sunset to midnight and during the hours shortly before and after sunrise.
You should also drive with caution when moving through areas that are known to have a large deer population.
