Stratford Police holding two upcoming food drives

Two upcoming food drives are coming at a time when more people are needing to turn to food banks to keep themselves and their families fed.
Stratford Police are putting them on with the first taking place on Saturday at the Zehrs grocery store on Ontario Street in support of the Stratford House of Blessing food bank.
SPS Constable Darren Fischer says many are struggling to keep up with rising costs.
“Everybody can see it and feel it when they go to the grocery store, everybody can see it now that we’re out Christmas shopping for others as well, the prices have gone up on everything.”
SPS is holding another food drive on December 9th at the Foodland in St.Marys for the Salvation Army.
