Homeowners are reminded to take a few steps to prevent frozen water pipes as the temperature drops below freezing.
Officials with the City of Stratford say you should know where your main water shut-off valve is located, disconnect garden hoses from outdoor taps, and insulate pipes especially prone to freezing.
They say you should also keep your garage door closed and ensure warm air can circulate to areas where pipes are located.
