Provincial funding of over $4.59 million on the way for area hospitals

Over $4.59 million in provincial funding is on the way for hospitals in our region.

Perth-WellingtonMPP Matthew Rae says the money is coming from Ontario’s Surgical Recovery Fund and will go towards improving wait times and providing care closer to home.

Funding was provided through two application-based funding streams, the first being the Surgical and DI Innovation and Efficiency Program and the second the SurgicalPathway Training Program.
