The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth have launched an urgent appeal campaign to raise funds for an eight-year-old dog.
Toby was taken into care at the Stratford centre and needs special surgery to fix a dislocated hip and treat multiple pelvic fractures.
He heads into surgery on Monday morning and Humane Society officials estimate that his medical and care costs could reach up to $6000 or more by the time he is ready for adoption.
