Patchy white Christmas could be in store for Stratford area

Whether or not we will see a white Christmas depends on what happens this week.

That’s according to EnvironmentCanada Warning-Preparedness Meteorologist Peter Kimble who says some of the snow that we’ll see fall early this week could stick around until next Monday.

However, warmer weather is on the way for the weekend and on Christmas Day itself so just how much snow will melt remains to be seen.

He says Santa is ready to get through any kind of weather that we might see.

“No doubt, but it will likely be a mild one because we’re pretty comfortable in saying Christmas Day will be mild, he can dress light.”

Kimble adds he expects the mild temperatures will stick around into the new year.
