The real estate market in the Stratford area could be showing signs of life.
That’s according to Huron Perth Association of Realtors President Bob Heimpel and it comes after 83 homes were sold in the region in December, two more than the same month in 2022.
However, the total was still well below the five and ten-year averages for the month with 123 new listings in December the largest increase in the month in over five years.
Heimpel says we’ll need to wait another few months for the spring market to arrive before we can start getting a better picture of what to expect for the year ahead.
