Coldest Night of the Year almost here

The Coldest Night of the Year is quickly approaching.
One of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the United Way Perth-Huron, events are taking place across the region on February 24th.
Residents are invited to register and walk in support of those experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.
In St.Marys, organizers say they have reached forty-seven per cent of their $56,000 fundraising goal.
All money raised will go towards the work that UWPH does in the town and surrounding area.
“We hope that lots of folks from St Marys and area will join us by creating or joining a team, or even sponsoring someone who’s walking,” said Gwen Bradley, CNOY volunteer route leader. “So many people are struggling with day-to-day challenges but the Outreach Worker and Nourish market are trying to make things better. Together we can make a difference!”
You can still sign up and learn more on the UWPH website.
