Around 2,000 more residents in Huron and Perth Counties will have access to primary healthcare through provincial dollars.
The Listowel-Wingham Family Health Team is getting $822,604 to expand its services.
The money will support the Mobile Primary Care Clinic Team, a collaboration among the eight Family Health Teams and Community Health Centre in Huron Perth and area which provides primary care services.
The team focuses on preventative care, chronic disease management, and care navigation.
