The average home in Perth County will see the tax portion they pay from the county go up by just over $90.00.
Perth County Council approved its 2024 budget on Thursday which includes a 12.31 per cent increase on the overall tax levy.
This year’s total tax levy is estimated at $22.2 million and includes funding for capital projects like the courthouse campus renovation.
The portion of the county tax is added to residents tax bill in North Perth, West Perth, Perth East, and Perth South.
